About this Wiki
This is the incubator for the technology needed to make SignWriting compatible with MediaWiki. It is also the repository of the encyclopaedic articles needed for a successful request for a Wikipedia in a sign language.
Become part of a Community
SignWriting is growing at an exponential rate. More individuals and groups are becoming involved all of the time. Within SignWriting, there are many communities around the world. The SignWriting List is an international community of users discussing all aspects of SignWriting. Visit the Community Portal to see who's involved. Please add yourself or your group to the Community Portal page.
What Sign Languages Can Participate
The SignWriting Organization welcomes any and all encyclopedic articles in any sign language. You indicate what language is used by specifying a category. For example to indicate an ASL article, you just place the following code within the article: [[Category:ASL]]
