SignWriting Services is a consultant service, provided by our non-profit Center for Sutton Movement Writing, which sponsors the Deaf Action Committee For SignWriting, and the SignWriting Literacy Project.

The consultant fees you pay to the Center will in turn help SignWriting continue. All proceeds from SignWriting Services are directly paid to Deaf consultants, or, if you pay Valerie Sutton to do a job for you, the proceeds are given to the SignWriting Literacy Project, to provide donated SignWriting materials to classrooms with Deaf students.

Sign Language videos can be written in SignWriting for you, and prepared for you, by computer, using SignText, SignPuddle & SignBank. Count how many signs are in your video to estimate the cost of the document. Write to Valerie Sutton for a final estimate.

If you provide us with a short videoclip, in QuickTime format, or Windows Media Player format, we can count the signs for you and send you an estimate just for that short video.

Estimates are based on how you would like the document prepared. You could try a small document first, to see if you wish to continue with a longer video.

Here are some document options:

1. SignText Format
The written signs are delivered by SignText email...You can then upload the signs into SignText from the email, save the document in Firefox, and print it yourself in a variety of formats. $2.00 USD per sign

2. SignText
Plus Columns in Graphics Files
The written signs are delivered by SignText email...plus the document in vertical columns is prepared in PNG format for you. You will have each column as a graphic. You can then paste the graphics into other documents, like Microsoft Word, or use it for web design. $3.00 USD per sign

3. SignText
Plus PDF Document
The written signs are delivered by SignText email...plus a PDF document of the entire document will be created for you. You can then send the PDF to people, print from it, and post it on the web. You will need to provide any spoken language you want in the PDF document. $4.00 USD per sign


4. SignText
Plus SignPuddle Online
The written signs are delivered by SignText email...plus all the signs will be added to your SignPuddle Online. This will help everyone in your country. $4.00 USD per sign


5. SignText
Plus SignBank on a CD
The written signs are delivered by SignText email...plus all the signs will be added to your country's SignBank. The new SignBank will then be mailed to you postal mail on a CD. $5.00 USD per sign

Plus SignPuddle Online

The written signs are delivered by SignText email...plus all the signs will be added to your SignPuddle Online. Plus all the signs will be added to your country's SignBank. The new SignBank will then be mailed to you postal mail on a CD. $6.00 USD per sign
